I wouldn’t have believed that there was such a thing but there is. I shot a tvc about golf and I had to provide 24 outfit changes. I couldn’t believe all the different outfits that golfers wear. I was especially excited about the vintage golfing outfits.
I also got to work with some of my old favourite people, my Assistant Angilika Nilsson, Makeup artist Felicia Yong and I got to make friends who will become some of my new favourite people.
Check out the behind the scene photos.
Last week I attended the IFB Evolving Influences Fashion Blogger Conference and learned a lot about fashion blogging. I learned about good SEO techniques, finding my blogging niche, improving my writing and about monetizing.
In that vain I have figured out I’m not really a Fashion Blog, and my blogging niche is that I have an inside perspective into the Magazine and Movie world. So with those ideas in mind, I’ve decided to streamline the FLS and make it a more informational blog. I will continue to provide a “Behind the Scenes” look at what is is to be a Fashion Stylist / Wardrobe Supervisor but I will provide you with a more in-depth view that just behind the scenes while shooting. I will now take you through my projects from inception straight through to the shooting phase.
I’ve also decided to try my hand at Fashion Journalism. I’ve written my first piece for Mecho.com
about my New York Fashion Week experiences. Please click the link and read the article. Your thoughts and comments would be most appreciated.
Thank you all for your support over the past year. I hope you all will continue to read and enjoy the new direction for the FLS.
