Hiking in Hollywood

Today Shane and I decided to take a hike to the Hollywood sign.  We can see the Hollywood sign from our place so we thought it shouldn’t be to hard to get there.  Well I was wrong, really really wrong.  We had to drive to the top of Beachwood Drive, then hike 45 minutes up a couple of winding trails.  We still weren’t that close to the sign but close enough to take a few happy snaps.

Sundays in Bondi and the Francis Star V-Neck Dress

Today’s dressing adventure started 2 days ago when the weather men started reporting on the warm weather Sydney was expecting yesterday. I really wanted to wear my Francis dress which I bought a while ago but haven’t been able to wear without layers cause it’s been too cold. Working at the Bondi Uturn means I need to be in flats, lots of running around, so I paired the dress with my white leather cons. I counted the other day and I have 5 pairs of converse sneakers, I was shocked cause I’m a heels kind of gal, where did all these flat shoes come from. Bondi must be rubbing off on me.

More on Walking the dogs

Today I really really really wanted to sleep in but alas, I have two dogs who need to walk so it wasn’t going to happen. By the time I got back from the morning walk, all I wanted to do was crawl back in bed, which I did.

When I got up a couple of hours later, I decided a long walk into Paddo was just what both the dogs and I needed. Window shopping for me and more exercise for them. My dressing adventure started with my fab Jcrew sweater. Jcrew is getting so much press since the lovely Michelle Obama has made it fashionable. Don’t you just LOVE her style? I paired the sweater with my Ruby Denim jeans and my pink lace converse all stars. I threw a pink polka dot scarf on my neck and was good to go.

I think I like taking silly photos. Scary.

Dinner with my Super Fab Boys

Last night I went to a dinner party where of course I was the only girl. Since these fantastic men are so easy going and know that I’m raising a new puppy, they didn’t mind that I dressed down for the occasion.

I love my Honey blazer and wish I could find more and more ways to wear it. Last night’s dressing adventure saw me staring out the window at the increasingly bad weather, cold wet rain. Very hard to be glamorous with two dogs and a lot of rain so I decided to wear my pink lace cons. The rest of the outfit fell in place. (sorry for the blurry pic!)
