Bridget Mac’s Exhibition Opening & the Tale of a Francis Dress

On Friday I had the extreme pleasure of attending with my Fashion Mentor an artistic photographic exhibition by Bridget Mac. It was an installation exhibition at the Oxford Art Factory and it was AMAZING. I loved the piece in the invite below. Fantastic.

About a month ago, the fabulous Wendy Brandes started a blog for Designer Christian Francis Roth – http://francisnewyork.com/blog/. After reading the blog I fell in love with the Francis V-Neck Star Dress and purchased it during a blogger special. Then Ms Wendy B blogged about his sample sale and on the invite was the most perfect Lenya dress I could ever imagine. I had to have it. And of course there was no better event than this to debut it. Behold my Francis one shoulder zig zag dress.

It was a wonderful night and as always with Sarah I met some great people. Can’t wait for next time and my next Francis dress.

Midweek Banking

Tonight I went to the Bank in Newtown to hang out with one of my male identified lesbian friends. PH is so funny. He is a lesbian trapped in a gay man’s body and loves going to the girl bars and just hanging out. I indulged him tonight and went too.
Dressing to go to girly bars is hard for a girly girl like me. My dressing adventure started with my vintage studded belt. I knew whatever I wore tonight, this would be a feature. Old jeans, my new Marni boot copies and my Givenchy inspired necklace all made an appearance as well. I originally was going to wear this velvet blazer but I realised once I got outside that it was too hot and had to change but didn’t get time to take new photos. I wasn’t too out of place tonight and it’s always fun to hang out with PH.


Here is little Vernon who isn’t so little anymore. He is being re homed this week and I’m going to miss him.

Baby Blue Corsets and Naturally Seven

Last night I went to the most amazing concert with ST thanks to her lovely husband and saw this fantastic group called Naturally Seven. These guys give a capello a whole new name. Each person can make a different instrument sound with their voice as well as they sing.

It was a great night, it’s always fun to hang out with Mrs T and I also got to meet the lovely Brigitte who is just a barrel of laughs. Thanks again Spikey T for making it happen.

And the blue corset got her first airing tonight. Love the way I had this tiny waist and super dooper boobs.
