Lack of Posting and Stuff

So changing the format of the blog has become boring. My last story was killed and there hasn’t been much of anything in the pipeline for a while. I’ve missed blogging but was at a loss as to what to blog about if I’m not blogging about my Fashion Work. I’ve decided that I will still blog about my personal fashion stuff as well. I hope that doesn’t bore all of you and that you continue to read and enjoy the FLS.
But nevertheless I have some Fashion Work related news. Last week while doing some office temping I unleashed a fountain of creativity (working in a boring office can do it to you) and came up with 6 shooting ideas. I shopped them to photographer Markus Van Driel and he LOVED them.
We are now doing all the organising. I should have some photos of all the background stuff in the next few days. As always my faithful Assistant Genesis will be assisting but unfortunately the same can’t be said for Marlies. Marlies is leaving me to go back to Holland. So I’m on the hunt for a new Assistant Stylist, if you are interested and live in the Sydney area please email me at lenya@lenyajones.com.
My other spot of Fashion News is that I was recently featured on the Raw Fashion Agency’sweekly newsletter. The fabulous Karl Edwin Guerre of Swagger360 shot me recently in New York wearing a TDF Gary Yang Collections coat and the lovely girls at Raw used the photo. Love the girls at Raw and love Mr Guerre and the Swagger36o blog – please do click the link and check him out.

Little Frills

I realised I haven’t done an outfit post for a bit so today I had my lovely Assistant Marlies take a photo of me. We have been engaged in a fantastic project that I will talk about a later stage.

Midweek Banking

Tonight I went to the Bank in Newtown to hang out with one of my male identified lesbian friends. PH is so funny. He is a lesbian trapped in a gay man’s body and loves going to the girl bars and just hanging out. I indulged him tonight and went too.
Dressing to go to girly bars is hard for a girly girl like me. My dressing adventure started with my vintage studded belt. I knew whatever I wore tonight, this would be a feature. Old jeans, my new Marni boot copies and my Givenchy inspired necklace all made an appearance as well. I originally was going to wear this velvet blazer but I realised once I got outside that it was too hot and had to change but didn’t get time to take new photos. I wasn’t too out of place tonight and it’s always fun to hang out with PH.

Here is little Vernon who isn’t so little anymore. He is being re homed this week and I’m going to miss him.

Tonight’s outfit is brought to you by: Blazer – Old Navy, Tee – Marcs, Jeans – Old Navy, Belt – Vintage thrifted via Zoo Emporium, Necklace – Portmans, Boots – Siren

More delicious adventures in Copies

No wardrobe post today, too tired and haggard to take a photo. Today’s post is all about Wanted Shoes . Today was a sourcing day for SS and I, we were in all the shops trying to see what’s in store for men. And even though I said I wasn’t going to go into Wanted Shoes, we did and thank god we did because waiting for me were the most fab Marni copies EVER by Siren. And the best part . . . . they were reduced from $289 to $60. Of course I put them on, paid and walked out the store.

Check them out.
