Update – Shoes vs Wedding and Shower Outfit
As some of you may remember, I purchased these lovely Proenza Schouler sandals from Net-a-porter.com during their fab summer sale.
I returned them and received a store credit and was going to buy a Chloe dress and Pedro Garcia shoes but decided (after hours of searching and thinking) to purchase two dresses instead.
I can wear the Maharishi Organic Cotton dress to the hens party and the Antik Batik Noemie Sequin Embroidered dress to the wedding. And both go with my fab new silver party shoes.
So alls well that ends well.
Disappointment – Shoes vs Wedding Outfit
Last week I finally ordered the Proenza Schouler shoes made famous by SJP in the SATC movie (during the return of the library books scene).
But unfortunately, when they arrived yesterday and I tried them on, I realised they didn’t fit well. My very high instep looked really strange in the shoes and lets face it, at designer prices, you really want to have an amazing fit. So once again I have a credit at Net-a-porter.com. This doesn’t happen often but when it does, I’m excited.
This is what I plan to buy with my credit. I have a wedding next month and want to look urban and funky but cool and sophisticated. Here is the outfit:
