A couple of months ago I shopped from the fantastic Inny Vinny’s shopping site. From the minute they arrived I’ve been dying to wear all of these pieces. The weather has been up and down and I haven’t been in the mood to wear deal with sandals in the rain. Well the weather has broken and I raced at the chance to wear my new clogs.
I know I’m a little late to jump on the clogs band wagon but these ones are so very Miu Miu that I had to have them. And everyone loves a good cape. Can’t wait to rock these items on the other side of the pond. Will be in the states soon, get in touch if you want to catch up.
Thanks Ms Inny Vinny for making my day.
Today I really really really wanted to sleep in but alas, I have two dogs who need to walk so it wasn’t going to happen. By the time I got back from the morning walk, all I wanted to do was crawl back in bed, which I did.
When I got up a couple of hours later, I decided a long walk into Paddo was just what both the dogs and I needed. Window shopping for me and more exercise for them. My dressing adventure started with my fab Jcrew sweater. Jcrew is getting so much press since the lovely Michelle Obama has made it fashionable. Don’t you just LOVE her style? I paired the sweater with my Ruby Denim jeans and my pink lace converse all stars. I threw a pink polka dot scarf on my neck and was good to go.
I think I like taking silly photos. Scary.

This is a weekend post that didn’t get posted on the weekend. I went to an amazing art exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales (AGNSW) called Half Light. This is an fantastic photographic exhibition done by the indigenous people of Australia. Here is a brief description:
“This is the first major survey of the work of Australian Indigenous artists engaging with the photographic medium and the portrait. Showcasing a range of techniques from classical black-and-white portraiture to digital imagery, the exhibition offers an unprecedented insight into the black experience that transcends national borders and the harsh reality of the everyday.”
After viewing the exhibition and hearing four of the photographers discuss the inspiration for their work, my friends and I decided to have High Tea at the Art Gallery restaurant. It was a fabulous day with friends.

Today’s dressing adventure almost wasn’t. My first tip that wearing all white may have not been a good idea came when I walked my beloved mr matey at the dog park this morning. Most of the time one of the many dogs that run around jump up on me so they can have a pat. (I know they shouldn’t but I like the attention) I dodged a few of those jumps this morning and got away without a stain. But alas it wasn’t going to stay that way. At my regular morning coffee roundup disaster struck and the lid on my take-away dribbled on my white Ruby jeans. Luckily the lovely Tony (I soooo love you) knew to put soda water and dab on the spot and viola, within 20 minutes of dabbing, no coffee stain.
