Adidas Originals – Star Wars™ Cantina 2010
Ok, now for my friends who know the real me, they know that I’m both excited and horrified by this ad. Excited because it’s Star Wars and horrified because it was used as advertising.
I’m a Star Wars geek. So much so that my ringtone is the Imperial March and R2D2 is my message tone. This bastardization of the beauty that was the original Star Wars trilogy makes me a little sick to my stomach. Who authorised this? Does George Lucas really need money that bad that he would sell off one of the best scenes in one of the greatest sci-fi movies to Addidas to sell clothes and hype soccer!
I know this a non-fashion but it had to be said.
